Irrigation

Drip irrigation is the most efficient method of irrigating. While sprinkler systems are about 75-85% efficient, drip systems are typically rated at above 90% efficient. This is largely due to the fact that with drip irrigation water soaks into the soil before it can evaporate or run off. Also, through efficient drip emitters, water is placed exactly where it is needed, at the root zone of the plants, rather than being sprayed everywhere else.

The ideal irrigation method, we believe, for home owners, gardeners, farmers, orchardists and greenhouse growers...in short, anyone with a need to water plants.

Drip irrigation is simple to install.  We can design and install a system to suit your needs, from a few baskets to a whole estate.

Drip irrigation is versatile.  With an automatic timer there is no need to remind yourself when to water (or remember to turn it off).  You can also be fertilizing your plants as they’re watered, simply by attaching a fertiliser injector to the system . An additional and significant benefit of watering by drip is the reduction of diseases associated with high levels of moisture on plant leaves.

Drip irrigation systems are flexible enough to cover: perennial plant beds,  borders, vegetable gardens, plants in containers—even hanging baskets, as well as individual trees or shrubs that stand isolated in your lawn.  One system can cover all, with the ability to vary the amount of water going to each plant.  This ability is an important management tool allowing you to take into account the differing water needs of individual plants in your landscape.

Your drip irrigation system is easily expandable and adjustable. Most, or all, of your system will be above ground or lightly covered with mulch, making it easily accessible for changes.

We provide the design and  all of the materials  for your custom-designed drip irrigation system. We install and show you how to maintain your system.

Water conservation, as we are all finding out, is no small matter. If you are going to irrigate...conserve this valuable resource by irrigating with drip.
